The Journey Begins

In 2016, I became the first hire at a small but growing firm. Over the next eight years, I wore many hats: streamlining processes, managing client retention, improving office operations, and helping the team grow from a two-person start up to a team of six with two locations. As the firm expanded, my role narrowed more and more into marketing—a position I didn't hate but didn't truly enjoy.

 

Near the end of 2024, I reached a turning point in my career and began looking for a new role I could grow into. While reaching out to professional connections for references, I was surprised when, instead of just offering references, several asked if I could help them directly. The challenge? They needed support but weren’t in a position to bring on a full-time employee.

 

I realized two things then:

1) There is a real need among small business owners who are overwhelmed and buried in tasks.

2) I thrive most when I can use my versatility to help others succeed.

 

And that’s how MoonRidge was born!

 

I founded this business to fill that gap — offering flexible support for small business owners who need an extra set of hands without the commitment of hiring staff. Today, I get to use my skills to reduce stress, create order, and help small businesses thrive. Hearing from clients that my work gives them breathing room to focus on what matters most is exactly why I do what I do.
